Budapest, Salzburg, Rühpolding, Munich, Karlsrühe, and Amsterdam

Hello everyone!

We have been very busy in our travels, but we are enjoying every second of this trip!

Last you heard from us we were just leaving Stockholm and heading to Budapest! We LOVED Budapest. It is such a beautiful city to walk around in, and the food was amazing. I don't think I had a vegetable that wasn't a potato the entire time we were there.

Breakfast at Bite! Everything was amazing there. We ate there twice!

Paninis for lunch in an outdoor garden.

Dinner in Budapest. I had the steak with au gratin potatoes... They were life changing.

Dessert at the Blue Bird Café!

Walked to the top of the highest point in Budapest, did some splits, and walked back down.

This is what Zach looks like when he is forced to take my yoga pose of the day photos: Purse in hand and miserable.

We were in Budapest from Friday, May 30 until Monday, June 2. We didn't want to leave, but we were ready for our next few hours in Salzburg. Note: I said  hours. We stayed in Salzburg on Monday night and then Tuesday morning we went to Rühpolding!

Just a glimpse of Salzburg!

Rühpolding is such a sweet, quaint town by the Alps, and it certainly has its own charm and personality! We stayed about a half a mile outside the town, amf we did a lot of exploring. Not many people spoke English or even understood it, so I had to put my German language skills (or lack thereof) to use!

Some Bavarian bunnies!!

This is the place we stayed at Frau Göllner is a friend of my German family. So amazing!
Woke up every morning and had this beautiful view!
One of the many paths we explored.
Die Bebe Kühe!!
And of course some more Bavarian bunnies. My apologies for the rabbit spam.

After Rühpolding we made our way to my friend Jess who is currently living in Uffing about an hour away from Munich. It was so refreshing to see her and her boyfriend, Ross, who was also visiting. It was so surreal seeing friends from America while abroad! We had a great visit with them.

Gulasch!
Dinner at a beer garden in Uffing
and of course crème brulee!

That brings us to about a week ago. We left Uffing in Bavaria and took the train to Karlsruhe from there. We'll have that post up sometime soon (we hope)!

Hope all is well with everyone! We are currently in Nieuwegein, which is an ADORABLE suburb of Amsterdam! We are with my family here too, shout out to Joerg and Petra!

Later kittens,

Katie
